Upskilling/Reskilling ensures employees’ skillsets won’t become obsolete and shows that we care about their careers and their futures. Boosts morale. Employees who have training and development opportunities are happier in their roles and have a brighter outlook on their future with the organization.
[UPSKILLING] – is learning additional skills or enhancing existing abilities, often with the goal of advancement.
[RESKILLING] – on the other hand, is learning a new set of skills or training for a new role, often intending to transition to a new job or different industry.
Hydroponics is a way to skip the soil, sub in a different material to support the roots of the plant, and grow crops directly in nutrient-rich water. There are multiple approaches to designing hydroponic systems, but the core elements are essentially the same.
Hydroponic Farming System is one of few initiatives made by our Human Resources in HMN Group of Companies on Upskilling and Reskilling Program for our employees. This program (or Side-project) is run and monitored by our appointed and dedicated team members from the Facility Management Unit (FMU). On training, we also invited experts from MARDI to give a short course on Hydroponics whereas we also invited whomever our team member that interested in Hydroponic.
